In our constant search for providing simply the best ingredients for our diners, we have recently upgraded our salmon 🐟. Ora King salmon, a type of Chinook salmon, raised in New Zealand, has earned top rankings from the Monterey Bay Seafood Watch, the Global Aquaculture Alliance, and Oceanwise. What does this mean? The methods of raising these salmon in large net pens in the Marlborough Sound ensure both the quality and health of the salmon, as well as the absolute minimal ecological effect on the area, as well as being a source of sustainable seafood without interfering fish populations. This is representative of what we like best to do with our food- choose what is good for the environment *because* it is best for our guests as well. This salmon has a beautiful red-orange hue and tender flesh. Now being served with a local Porcini mushroom crema, this tends to be one of our most popular dishes. Mangiare!

The Southside Film Festival has been a proud local tradition of Bethlehem since 2003. Spearheaded by local businesses and artists, each year the festival is a wonderful cultural and artistic attraction. This is the 5th year that Molinaris will host a ticketed, 5-course meal featuring some of the areas top chefs. It has consistently been an amazing and fun dining event. This year we feature @themint_gastropub, @3rd_ferry, @grain.allentown, and @madebylino. Wine provided by @siwines, beer by @bonnbrewing, and coffee by @monocacycoffee. There will be a round of hors doeuvres, 4 savory courses, and a dessert. Half of the proceeds go directly to support the film festival. Delicious food for a great cultural cause. 🎭🎥🎬👨🏻‍🍳🍷🍽

Preparing our olives: Castelvetrano olives, from Sicily, are a sweeter, buttery olive, on the riper side for a green olive. Gaeta olives, from Puglia, are tart, slightly salty, and have a hint of citrus. Taggiasca olives are the most assertive of the trio, but not overbearing- they have herbal and licorice notes to their flavor. They are marinated in olive oil with orange zest, fennel pollen, and chili flake, at once balancing and complementing the olives natural flavor. For those of you who don't already know, Molinari’s is an authentic Italian restaurant on the Southside of Bethlehem. We are passionate about the quality of our service, food, and dining experience.

Since opening in 2011, we have always provided fine dining in a casual atmosphere. We source everything possible from local farms and provisioners, and we strive to provide excellent dining experiences for all of our guests.

For each of our applicants, we expect: accountability, good work ethic, being a team player, and a passion for learning. We are accepting resumes, in person, Monday through Thursday, between 2 and 4 PM- come to the front of the restaurant and if no one is immediately available, please give us a call at 610 625 9222. You may also apply via email to info@molinarimangia.com. Please specify position for which you are applying in the subject line, and include at least your resume, as well as anything else you deem pertinent.

What we are looking for:

Front of House:
-A back waiter
-A front of house assistant; facilitates servers with table maintenance and enhances the dining experience for our guests. Must be available at least Thursday through Saturday evenings.
-A host/hostess
-The face and presence who greets our guests at the restaurant, organizes reservations and seating, and helps control the flow of the restaurant. Schedule may vary, but must be available weekend evenings.
Back of House:
-Garde Manger
-Responsible for pantry, salads, antipasti, desserts, etc. Preferably have knife skills, experience in the back of house, a desire to prepare and present beautiful, thoughtful food. Previous experience with Italian cuisine a plus, but not necessary.
